He had an ass whippin comin to him. I'm sure his parents will overlook his bad behavior and blame the whole episode on the driver. It's got to be hard to deal with some snot nosed brat cursing you out while you're trying to do your job, but then maybe you shouldn't be a school bus driver.

I don't approve of the driver's initial reaction, but the kids after their comments and hitting the driver did deserve to get smacked. this reminds me of 14 or so little punks who triedto tell me that I couldn't use the front door of a transit bus, and tried to used knives to back up their comments. They didn't like it when 1 of them got their arm broke and the broken knife rubbed into his face for his trouble. These punks thought that because they were underage, I was not allowed to defend myself against them; they discovered that they were quite wrong about that. With that many attackers, I could have taken it alot farther and not been charged at all, according to the laws here in canada.

Kids nowadays think they can get away with anything, When I was young (I am 23 now) before the first curse word was out of my mouth my mom would have been beating the crap out of me, now if she had done that and I had gone to school with bruises (which I deserved and needed as a miscreant) she could have been prosecuted. Seems to me that thru-out the history of the world parents have disciplined their children and everything worked fine, now since the 60's it is suddenly "wrong" to physically discipline your kids and look at the state of the whole world.

I personally think that no matter what the childrens behavior that the bus driver had absolutley no right to ever lay a finger on another persons child. I understand losing your temper but you have to be some kind of sicko to react with that kind of aggression towards a child and at the end of the day smart mouth or not thats what they are children. You can just count yourself lucky that those werent any of my kids.

The problem with kids today is that they know they can get away with this kind of crap and if you even touch them they can call child services. If that was my kid he wouldn't have been able to sit for a week!

Whats wrong with kids now days is they don't have their asses beat enough. Its the parents fault the driver reacted that way because its obvious the kids weren't taught to respect people who are older then they are. If I were that bus driver I would have knocked the shit outta that kid and not thought twice. It should be legal to slap other peoples kids who act like that because its obvious their parents aren't doing the job.

JUST A BUNCH OF WHITE TRASH KIDS WHO DESERVED IT! This is where the United States is going down the wrong path--when the no good trash has nothing better to do than give the bus driver trouble. Why do these people keep breeding like the insects that they are??? I say GOOD for the bus driver. I wish more MEN acted LIKE MEN and didn't take the shyt from the losers. No wonder people don't respect us as a people--we have allowed inappropriate behavior as a norm.

Yes, those lil bitches had it coming. They were taunting that guy. So I guess he gave them what the parents should have a long time ago. Listen how the lil brothers voice goes up about 4 octaves. No, don't bitch up now. And I'm sure pops said they can have that job. Working in the school system is basically a babysitting job. Parents want others to kiss their childrens asses but at the same time, they know they need the discipline because they can't control them at home.

Bus driver needs to learn to control his temper.... BUT.. I'm so glad he hasn't yet. Evil brat even started shoving him once he'd backed off.
One thing drivers should be allowed to do to objectionable kids is to throw them off their bus and make 'em walk home. Then, there's nobody to blame but the kid and its parents if some passing psycho gets a-hold of them and does something infinitely worse.
Oh.... and why couldn't that mono-toothed imbicile at the front keep his head out the way of the action?

I don't know which is worse; the driver having the unmitigated audacity to strike a child regardless of the circumstances when it's clearly illegal (by the way, he was fined and lost his job) to do so - or - the US Citizens here that are supposedly fervent believers in 'due process' as well as zero tolerance toward child abuse. Yes, folks - regardless of the words that came out of his mouth, the boy is still a child and if the driver had the brains to act as an adult then the boy and not he would have been punished.

Nobody won that day. The driver lost it first by swearing and losing control and physically trying to stuff the first kid in his seat. But, the other kids (especially the tall one) also deserved a good ass-whipping for being so belligerent in the first place. When I was a kid, you simply DIDN'T talk back to an adult, and you ESPECIALLY didn't cuss them out.
