I think they went a bit too overboard, it's too un-original. I guess it gets your attention though.

It had so much more potential, and they just didn't even tap it. It wasn't funny, it wasn't anything. Guys, next time you want to do an ad like this, don't. Hire people who can write your spots. These guys failed.

Horrible - the end of human civilization. This, and programs like "The Apprentice" are irrefutable evidence that we have entered a Dark Age worse than than Germany of the 1930's and '40's: the age of Homo Economicus, when the engine of our ethics is the cost/benefit analysis and the criterion of success is the accumulation of capital, regardless of the cost. And we think it's funny.....

Gimp009 quit trying to pass your opinion as fact, despite all your sources and credible information why this is the "end of civilization".... You are nothing more than some ignorant dissident with a big vocabuluary. So please keep your ignorance to yourself and do the world a favor, mmmmmmkay. This is an advertisement, way to blow things out of proportion.

Gimpo009, I'm assuming you didn't detect the sarcasm that was ONLY the entire punchline in this commercial. Very funny, creative, AND original!
