Movies & TV - Michael Clayton is an in-house "fixer" at one of the largest corporate law firms in New York. A former criminal prosecutor, Clayton takes care of Kenner, Bach & Ledeen's dirtiest work at the behest of the firm's co-founder Marty Bach. Though burned out and hardly content with his job as a fixer, his divorce, a failed business venture and mounting debt have left Clayton inextricably tied to the firm. At U/North, meanwhile, the career of litigator Karen Crowder rests on the multi-million dollar settlement of a class action suit that Clayton's firm is leading to a seemingly successful conclusion. But when Kenner Bach's brilliant and guilt-ridden attorney Arthur Edens sabotages the U/North case, Clayton faces the biggest challenge of his career and his life.

Poor George, he really is a good actor.....too bad he has to have some strange ideas concerning reality. The comment he made concerning one of the greatest actors of all time, Charlton Heston, still haunts him. How could any decent person make fun of a man's disabilities ?? Oh well, I guess it is just a matter of how much class a guy has !!

George Clooney has some issues concerning the Hollywood Liberial groups but that being said, George still remains a great actor. Regardless of what you may think or feel about Mr. Clooney, he creates a film presence that takes you back to the days of Clark Gable and other late actors. Michael Clayton is a film that reminds me of "And Justice For All" a 1979 film which tells the story of a Baltimore defense lawyer named Arthur Kirkland (played by Al Pacino). ...I would suggest viewing both movies and than formulating your conclusions. Great actor-Great Film.
