Not even the people of Laramie, Wyoming, can agree on what really happened to college student Matthew Shepard, except for the objective facts. He was brutally beaten and left to die by two young men, lapsed into a coma and passed away. Why did the perpetrators do it? Who was at fault? Why did it happen in Laramie?
