Today Lotus finally took the wraps off their long-rumored new sports car, codenamed Project Eagle, at the British Motor Show. Lotus touts the Evora as being their most livable sports car to date, and states it will handle two "American" males in the front seats - something which is no small feat in the powerwheels-sized Elise.
The current spec Evora is a mid-engine, 2+2 coupe with 3.5L V6 provided by Toyota and subsequently warmed over by the gearheads at Lotus, resulting in a resptable 276 horsepower while maintaining a nimble 2976lbs curb weight. Production will initially be limited to 2000 cars per year, but may vary based on demand. Check out the Elise's new big brother below. Read More »

We’ve all been there. The day has unfolded in completely unforeseen ways and now you’re being hunted down like a stray dog, and the odds are hopelessly against you.
Now you find yourself at a fork in the road of destiny, and you’re left with two equally difficult choices. The first choice: turn and face the enemy, ensuring certain oblivion.
The second choice is to run. Run fast, and run hard. To get the hell away to in hopes of living another day unshackled by the tyranny of those who seek to destroy your way of life. Suddenly, the choice becomes all too easy, and you jump in the steel-clad beast of your choice and bury the throttle.
But now what? With the numbers stacked against you, your only hope is to constantly stay one step ahead of your adversaries. And so, freedom fighter, here’s Spike’s Top Ten Ways to Ditch the Bad Guys.

Here's the money shot people. This is the final, real deal, production Camaro we'll be seeing sometime next year. We can all breath a sigh of relief that the lame Saleen-style headlights in the test mule versions are gone. And a bottle of JD should take care of any lingering memories soon enough.
The new Camaro will come in LS, LT, RS and SS models. Tranmission options will include a 6 speed manual, and the engine optoins (so far) include a 296 HP 3.6-liter V6 and a 416 HP 6.2-liter V8 in SS models, with cylinder deactivation (similiar to Chrysler's MDS). 300hp from a V6? Not bad, but I'd be hard pressed to pass up an LS2 motor, though.
While I was a very big fan of the concept exterior design of the Camaro, I still really feel like the production body is missing... something. It's just too sedate - too safe. Who knows, maybe a set of Torq Thrusts and a better grill would change my mind. However, I will admit that the interior is far above what's being offered in similar models like the Challenger. But if you've been following this blog, you probably already know which one of these pony cars is going to end up in my garage. Peep the photo gallery for some high rez car porn.

This chick's generous nature causes a driver to spin out of control. Can't really blame him for it though.

Not sure what this guy was trying to accomplish, but it's good to see a car based on a military transport vehicle can still defeat a metal stop sign.

As if riding in a hot rod or a limo wasn't cool enough, someone went ahead and combined the two for pretty much the coolest car ever built.
