I love Silva, he has humility and respect, with the greatest confidence a man can have. He really is kind and respectful and doesn't bad mouth or trash talk his opponents, but like a trained Navy Seal getting dropped into the worst scenario imaginable, he (in his mind) knows going home victorious. I have not seen this level or combination of athleticism and humility since the "young" (post Olympics - pre-Don King) Mike Tyson, who appreciated his opponents, but come game day annihilated them. Silva's focus and attack-response under real fight pressure is so obvious and intense. He has all of the attributes of a long time champion. Even the greatest fighters out there, who study their opponent will have a hard time reading this guys explosive versatility, and professionally dealing with it. I have yet to see him even resorting to any "hold on" tactics or really even get into trouble? His best defense so far has been his incredible offense. Relentlessly pressing and pursuing his opponent, and seeming to capitalize every time one of them creates an opportunity or makes a slight mistake. He is the new breed (or level) of human fighters! Thanks for raising the UFC bar once again Anderson!
