In a crash reminiscent of the Stephan Erikkson Ferrari Enzo debacle, this NSX suffered spontaneous meiosis when the driver lost control while street racing against a "black Honda Civic" in San Diego yesterday afternoon.
Despite the steering column landing a good fifty feet from the driver's seat, this guy somehow survived - albiet with a broken neck, among other injuries. Considering the carnage, that's an extremely good deal.
Having seen firsthand the aftermath of street races gone wrong (with far more detrimental consequences), I can tell you for certain that they don't always turn out this way. Save it for the track. Video after the jump.
