For those of you who thought the first three Scream movies were a real scream, well, hold onto your britches, Scream 4 has been greenlit. In fact, at least some of the original cast is coming back for seconds. I mean thirds. I mean, uh, quadruples? Despite the regrettable loss of Neve Campbell to the franchise both Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette (that’s a whole lot of Arquettage for one sentence!) will be reprising their roles. According to moviesonline the franchise is being “restarted”. Themovieblog is as confused as I am as to what the hell that means – are we going to learn the origins of someone or something? Are they going to go all Batman Begins on us? What’s the deal, for real?
