The Argentina version of Dancing with the Stars (Bailando por un Sueño is loosely translated as Dancing For A Dream)is literally heating up the dance floor. The current season of the show has spiced things up by introducing pole dancing, hip hop and strip-tease, alongside the more traditional dances such as the Waltz, Foxtrot and Cha-Cha.
This year’s competition features 32 Argentina celebrities, one of whom is a porn star. The contestants strut about in skimpy costumes, bikinis, knee high boots and are not afraid to rip off each others clothes. One couple even ended their tango routine with a long steamy kiss. Another performed a crazy pole dancing routine to the Rolling Stones classic Satisfaction sung by Britney Spears.
The sexier show is a huge ratings winner with over a third of the country’s television audience tuning in. Here’s hoping America’s Dancing with the Stars takes note.
